Bienvenue à English for Fun (l’anglais pour s’amuser).
English for Fun a été fondée par Gaynor Morgan, professeure d'anglais RSA/CELTA, en bénévolat au sein de l'Oasis Asbl.
Qui?
Tout enfant de Pellaines, Racour ou Lincent âgé de 9 à 12 ans. Maximum 6 par classe.
Où?
Les cours ont lieu à la Bibliothèque de Racour ou à l’Oasis selon les activités.
Quand?
English for Fun a lieu un week-end sur deux, des 2 et 3 novembre 2019 au premier week-end de mai (il n'y a pas de cours pendant les vacances scolaires)
Les cours sont regroupés en 6 sessions.
Combien?
Le coût pour 6 cours est de 20 € par enfant. Cela couvre toutes les photocopies et matériels utilisés pendant les cours.
Qu'impliqueront les cours?
Les cours sont une introduction de base à la langue anglaise au travers de jeux et du plaisir.
Chaque classe, les enfants apprendront un thème différent afin d’élargir leur vocabulaire de la langue anglaise.
Les thèmes sont, par exemple, "Le jardin", partir en vacances, faire du shopping, aller chez le médecin, indiquer l'heure, etc.
La grammaire est introduite de manière subtile où les enfants apprendront des phrases de base.
Ils créeront leur propre dictionnaire.
Cette année, nous introduisons 15 minutes supplémentaires pour la phonétique et la lecture. Cela aidera à la prononciation et à la reconnaissance des mots.
Il n'y a pas de devoirs!
Il existe une grande variété de livres de lecture pour les enfants désirants les ramener chez eux; ils y sont invités.

Welcome to English for Fun.
English for Fun was founded by Gaynor Morgan, RSA/CELTA English language teacher; she works on a complete voluntary basis through the Oasis Asbl.
Who?
Any child from within Pellaines, Racour or Lincent from the ages of 9 to 12 years old. Maximum 6 per class.
Where?
Lessons are held in the Library of Racour or in the Oasis depending on the activity.
When?
English for Fun is held once every two weekends starting 2nd and 3rd November 2019 through to the first weekend in May (There are no classes during school holidays)
Classes are grouped in 6 sessions.
How much?
The cost for 6 classes is 20€ per child. This covers any photocopies and materials used during the classes.
What will the classes entail?
The classes are a basic introduction of the English language through games and fun.
Each class the children will learn a different theme to broaden their vocabulary of the English language.
Themes are for example, 'The garden', going on holiday, going shopping, going to the doctor, telling the time etc.
Grammar is introduced subtly where the children will learn basic phrases.
They will make their own dictionary.
This year we are introducing 15 minutes extra for phonetics and reading. This will help with pronunciation and word recognition.
There is no homework!
There is a wide range of reading books should the children wish to take them home they are welcome to.
